Out of the Blue

Overview

IMPORTANT NOTE: Construction is underway in the neighborhood, including some homes being built down the hill from the deck. While this gives kids a front-row view of big trucks in action (and you still get a lovely view of the lake!), it does come with some truck noise during working hours. 

And we know Momma knows best. All that’s left is: Which days are you coming to Out of the Blue for some lake therapy?

Out of the Blue vacation rental home is the ideal set up for your family to spread out in their own space. When we say family, we mean the whole family, as we have included accessibility features plus a space for your little doggie, too.

Located on Indian Point, less than a mile from Silver Dollar City, your crew will have quick access to many of the best activities in the area — turn right for theme parks and turn left for the marina.

Every one of the home’s 6 bedrooms has a private bath-en-suite. One bedroom has two queen beds, and the other five bedrooms each have a king bed. We know that the teen boys having their own bed is important to family sanity.

The Great Room is the relaxed, lake-view hangout spot and gathering place for your group (besides the decks — more about those later). Table Rock Lake views are perfectly complemented by the nap-worthy sofas, a large flat screen TV, and stone fireplace. The open layout leads seamlessly to the dining area and kitchen.

Keep the conversation going while you cook—the kitchen is open to the dining area and Great Room.  This kitchen has it all: full place settings, heavy stainless flatware, glasses, mugs, stemware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, baking dishes, crockpot, muffin tins, and even cookie sheets to bake cookies with Grandma. And there’s more: a dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, blender, waffle maker, and a KitchenAid mixer. Start the day with waffles and end it with margaritas on the deck. If you’re a coffee-loving crew, there’s also a Keurig brewing system. Be sure to bring your favorite K-cups or pick some up at the grocery store 5 minutes away.

You’ve got a big family, we’ve got a big table. A chair for you, a chair for dad, a chair for Uncle Bob, a chair for cousin Lucy, a chair for everyone — even the highchair for baby Kate.

You’ll quickly fall in love with Out of the Blue’s spa-inspired bedrooms with top-of-the-line mattresses wrapped in crisp-white soft linens and topped with luxurious down alternative pillows. 

All bedrooms also have bedside reading lamps and flat-screen smart TVs for streaming Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Amazon, and more.  There are 6 bedroom suites – yes, all bedrooms with their own bathrooms!

The main level has an additional half bath in addition to all bedrooms with their own en-suite bathroom. One main level en suite bathroom has grab bars and a transfer shower for accessibility.
 

The family game room at Out of the Blue is on the upper level, where the view of Table Rock Lake is as equally incredible as the main level. The game room area features a sleek pool table, a flat-screen smart TV, and board games for your family game nights. Great for lazy afternoons, rainy days, and evenings at home while watching the sun set over the lake.
 

A large, covered main level back deck is 40’ x 12’, with a stone gas fireplace, hot tub, and a gas grill for grilling burgers for your big crew. The decks are also where the views come in: settle into the expansive lounge seating and an incredible vantage point of the Ozark Mountains and Table Rock Lake at Indian Point.
 

The upper level deck is off the game room and is also covered as well as the same massive 40′ x 12′ size. Grab your coffee in the morning and stretch out with the incredible lake view.
 

There is a double set of washers and dryers in the laundry area on the upper level for your use.
 

Kiddos need lots of stuff, so we have a few items to lighten your travel load. The Out of the Blue lodge has a high chair, a pack-n-play, and an umbrella stroller that you are welcome to use during your stay. Baby blankets or sheets are not provided)  There are also kids' plates, cups, and flatware for mealtime.

The neighborhood outdoor swimming pool is a short walk or quick drive up the street, along with the playground and fire pit. The community pool also has a children’s wading pool and a hot tub. Both the big pool and the hot tub are handicapped and accessible with a lift.
