Casa Bella at Cabo Colorado

The Casa Bella property was just like the photos on the website. Expansive, very well appointed, in a very nice and quiet community. It was pretty much a straight shot from the airport (about 20 minutes). Once arrived at the villa, our Concierge had chips, salsa, guacamole and ice cold margaritas waiting. The view was spectacular, morning sunrises picture perfect. We picked a perfect week, nothing but sunshine.
The way the house is laid out, you felt very private in each of the bedrooms. Each of the 4 bedrooms were large, and some with views of the ocean. The separate casita was on the lower level away from all of the others, but was self contained, with bed, seating area, bathroom and wet bar. The pool/Jacuzzi area had ample seating and an amazing view of the ocean. Most beaches in Cabo are not swimmable, as the one below Casa Bella, but the heated pool and jacuzzi made up for that. A lovely fire pit was the spot for evening cocktails and after diner conversations. El Merkado a property with several restaurants and shops, was literally across the street. We dined there on several occasions, very affordable and family friendly. Both The Oyster Bar and Cabron Carbon were excellent. Also a very well stocked supermarket is about a mile away. Staying at this property, you are pretty isolated from activities. The drive down to Cabo San Lucas is about 15 minutes, where you'll
find the night life, restaurants, shops, tourist attractions like the Arch, fishing, sailing, jet skiing, and the major shopping mall. The Office is a lively right on the beach spot with good food and margaritas, be prepared for the locals peddling their wares. Took a lovely sail/snorkel excursion with Cabo Sail, great recommendation of our Concierge. Our trip was very private, only 9 passengers with 3 crew members. Lunch, unlimited drinks and snorkeling equipment (including towels) were provided. Overall this was a lovely, relaxing and affordable vacation.
