Overview

The property is on an 18,000 square meter lawn planted with various species, fully enclosed.  The spacious house of approximately 450 square meters includes stone floors and offers large volumes. Facing south, one discovers from the large terrace, a pleasant large garden & park and a splendid view of the Alpilles hills.

The Bastide consists of a lobby that leads you to two large living rooms, one with a high ceiling leading to an open fireplace, sofas & TV. The second living area has sofas, TV, a dining room with table seating up to 10 guests, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances with breakfast table.  The Bastide has a laundry room with washing machine, air-conditioning, and a Hamman and Jacuzzi.

Outside, there is a large park with lawns and and a heated pool with a pool house with seating area with a bar counter and a shower room. There is also a pétanque/boule court, a floodlit tennis court, and ample parking area.

St Remy-de-Provence is just 2 kilometres from the Bastide which is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants. On its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colorful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts.

The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, olive groves. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit such as Les Baux de Provence - considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France. Avignon, Arles, Nîmes and and the are other towns you can easily visit in a day, and at only 45 minutes to the east is the Luberon region and further south is Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses.
